oh..to be an anthropologie girl

I look at that above picture and find myself envious of a picture. Ok..maybe not completely envious. Afterall I feel ever so blessed in my life and I find much bliss in my family, friends, and you. Yet I can not help but indulge in daydreaming of what it must be like to live the life in these pictures.

Just look at that beautiful image above. Swoon. All I need is my handsome husband opening that back door with my precious little boy running to me with a bouquet of flowers in hand.

But then after a shameful lengthy stare and cleaning up my drool pool, I have come to notice that maybe it is the clothes making me swoon.

Ah...clothes.

Now in my 3rd year of pharmacy school, I have almost forgotten what it is like to shop for clothes...let alone have the time.

So I have made the decision to document my love of fashion within my attempt to live life more beautifully. I guess a good place to start is in the clothes I wear.

I plan joining The Pleated Poppy in "what I wore wednesday" to inspire me to become budget chic.

Sadly as I type this, I have just noticed a small hole in my favorite tank from this summer.

Isn't she pretty? Argh...what is an inspiring Antho girl to do?

Cheers~

  4. Those anthro girls! Looking so effortlessly chic in the most exotic of locales. No worries, my dear. You only need a sweet ruffled blouse or romantic dress to compete with those ladies. I'm envious of your slim figure and know that you will be able to find some incredible (and affordable) ensembles that we'll all be drooling over!

    P.S. - I've missed you too!!

  5. Anthropologie is where I would exclusively shop if money were no object! I think the look they have is simply gorgeous. I actually try not to look through the catalogs anymore, because I get so bummed out about my Target/Old Navy/clearance rack wardrobe.

  6. I just got the new J Crew all drooly this afternoon as I trolled the pages for "looks" that I can sorta recreate with stuff I already have -- for those days when I actually try to make myself look presentable! ;)

  8. I am SO RIGHT THERE w/ you, E! Sometimes I walk into Anthro just to dream that my closet (& house) are Anthro all the way. I might have even lounged on one of their pretty beds whilst wearing one of their expensive dresses. Possibly pretending to eat out of their pretty little bowls from their kitchen section.

This is why their security guy knows me well. HA!

    (Miss ya around here!!!)
