peekaboo..sneak peek

So here is what I have been working on since yesteday. Just thought you would like to see a glimpse of my Spring Break Reno 2010!

I can not wait to be done with priming and finally onto painting! I am only working on the bedroom during the day when Mr. B and the babe are away. Mr. B goes to bed early so I have limited time. :)

the wall is NOT dirty...just the under coat + primer+ 1 window = odd looking pic

Can you see all the shades of white I have been "experiementing with" throughout my room? If you need any white paint samples or thoughts..ask me. I have sampled only a 1000. :)

Hopefully I will be painting tonight. I sometimes under estimate my time frame. I am quite amazed that I might actually pull this off. :)

Cheers~

UPDATE: After 2 o'clock....here is where I stand on one wall. :)

P.S.
This weekend I started working on a nursery for a very good friend. Her husband and I are tackling that project. I am a painting fool these days.

Here is a glimpse of that project: (You know where we are going with this.) :)

  1. Can't wait to find out which white you chose. I was contemplating painting over the dark brown in our family room but let it go for now.

  2. Wow! you have been a busy girl! I can't wait to see the bedroom! And that nursery! Lots of work going on there!
If you feel stressed, don't feel obligated to go thrifting! You know I don't need anything! lol
It's a pretty day, I'm running through all my blogs before I go outside and get started on projects and maybe some yard work.

  3. Can't wait to see. And white can be tricky, so you will likely be an expert by the time you narrow it down.

  4. So exciting! White can be tough...can't wait to see which one you choose! Make sure you post the names of your favorites. The nursery is going to be amazing.....wow!!!! You my friend are on a roll. I am tuckered out from the kitchen, art room, and paintings for church. Now seasonal allergies are in full swing and I am trying not to be a bear about it. I don't want to take meds yet...seems too early, and really I'd rather do without. I'm stubborn, aren't I?
As we speak Mark is pounding overhead to remove flooring in the kids' bath...unexpected water issues over the weekend. So, now I'm trying to figure out what to do in there...here's my chance! :)

The white you chose looks EXQUISITE!! Crisp, clean, yet soft. Can't wait to see the reveal & hear which white you went with. And the nursery project--busy bee. I'm starting to feel lazy next to you, my friend.

(How fabulous is that moulding detail on your wall?! I want!)
