I even started to scout out some of your ideas. One I really liked was incorporating a unit on the wall. Look at this inspiration I found from my little collection of PB catalogs.
I think the staining would be a wonderful element too {on the vanity and the unity}
But at $129 for each piece....I really need to use this as inspiration and recreate a knockoff or copy.
Ooohhh....and just imagine the mouthwash in a lovely bottle too...as you suggested.
What do you think? I plan to start "working" on it stat {ahh...my pharmacy world lingo slips in once again}. And who knows...I might find what I am looking for along the side of the road again. :)
Cheers~

PS. Your title made me smile
ReplyDeleteThe wall unit is fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with those bottles -- seriously. (I may have a problem ahaha)
ooooo. Glass shelves! Pretty!
ReplyDeletethat pb piece would be awesome for your bathroom, AND so would a knockoff! I think that is the perfect solution to your problem.

ps LOVE the title of this post!
Love the inspiration photo. I LOVE those bottles, but I have a hard time finding them. Course, to be honest, I haven't looked as hard as I could. I think this could easily be recreated for less and I'm sure luck will be on your side. Hopefully, you won't have to wait for it though.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of having something that hangs on the wall, because let's face it...there's never enough counter space! Good luck in your hunt! It seems like you might be able to find something to refinish at a garage sale/thrift store...but keep your eyes on the curb when it's trash day!
ReplyDeleteVery cute and functional. Target has a pretty inexpensive bathroom storage funiture. Or you could find something at GW (or maybe even Ikea?) and repurpose it as a wall cabinet. Or just go find another jackpot on the side of the road! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a simple idea for the mouthwash but it adds an instant chicness. : )
ReplyDeleteOH you could so make that! WE did a similar knock off a few years ago with components from the thrift store, scrap lumber, and clearance at Lowe's. It was so awesome that when we sold the house the new owners actually wrote it into the contract.... :( and :)
ReplyDeletefor the bottles, just ask anyone who recycles to save you their bottles or ask a restaurant which has a bar for their bottles. You can get some really cool bottles that way!!!
ReplyDeleteYour title made me do a double take because I have a 2 year old so I'm always looking for peace in the bathroom too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the inspiration piece! I can't wait to see what you come up with.
