a holly jolly entertainment center

So I have tweeked my little garland to perfection, had a few moments of actual sun, and a moment to snap a shot or two.

No tutorial..just a snipet of the finished garland. I think I am too impatient to take pictures step by step...but let's be honest, I think it is more because my time is sooo limited {especially with daylight}.

Here is what I ended up with:

I found a cheap garland with some faux pine, pinecones, and holly berry. I added a few more pinecones {plain & glittery}, some white Christmas lights, some leftover red ornaments, and some willow.

Excuse the alcohol commercial. This must be the Bravo channel.

I am quite pleased with the red. Now all I need to do is put up the tree. What other decor elements do you have on your Christmas to do list?

Cheers~

  2. This is stunning! Love it! I am trying to declutter and decorate...and make some new decorations. Not thrilled with how the kitchen is looking these days....too cluttered on a daily basis by 4 kids...and am thinking, why bother putting more things! :) Can't wait to add that butter dish to the mix though...that won't be clutter, but a great piece of beauty. :) Hope all is well with you, and that your rotations are going well!!

  5. I love the willow that you added behind. It really adds dimension to the whole thing. Today I'm going to get to work on my front porch. Can you believe I still have mini pumpkins out there? Bad!

  6. What a beautiful garland, I love the traditional colors and items from nature. Yesterday I bought a little garland from Michael's and looked for some at Goodwill. After seeing your post, I am really in a garland mood! Thank you ♥

  9. Love the garland...maybe one day I'll decorate again! Next year, next year. And the mantel will be a good place to start since Olivia won't be able to reach that!
